I was honored to help cut the ribbon on the new Robert Barensfeld Center at Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village — a place that’s been part of my life since childhood. Thanks to $2 million in state funding, Meadowcroft is now even better equipped to welcome students, families and history lovers from across PA!

I was on my way home from picking up some cute little chicks yesterday and pulled up to my road only to see it was closed. Wind knocked down lines all over the place. Stranded with 6 little chickees that needed their heat lamp, food and water. I drove to the office where the awesome team serving the 39th Senatorial District were ready and waiting to improvise in order to set up a temporary home for the chicks. So I’m naming each chick after each of them - Dottie, Gina, Joann, Lois, Rachel and one will remain nameless. 😂🐥🐣
